With the guidance of the Holy Spirit we invite Catholic youth worldwide to renew their faith;
to foster and develop involvement within the church and to reach out to the world.
Embrace is the young adults group at St Mary's Cathedral in the Catholic Archdiocese of Sydney, Australia. Embrace consists of young people from the age of 18 to 35 years from all over the world and Australians of multicultural backgrounds.
We meet every Sunday after the 6.00 pm Mass at St Mary's Cathedral House, adjacent to the Cathedral.
Our activities and youth projects are designed to support spiritual development and encourage active practice of our faith. In addition, we provide social and sporting activities for our members.
If you are interested in meeting other young Catholics to share and enact your faith, you are welcome to our meetings and join our activities.
Here is a quick summary of what we do:
- Active participation in Youth Mass
- Involvement in Archdiocesan youth events
